Guests are welcome to explore the farm, collect eggs from the chicken & duck house, pick fruit from the orchard, and pick fresh berries, (seasonal) herbs and salad from the guests produce garden.  We can conduct a ‘farm tour’ at a mutually suitable time (usually anytime between 9am and 4pm) and introduce guests to various friendly farm animals ~ pet sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, farm dogs, donkey, ponies, the alpacas. We provide a bucket of animal feed which we replenish as needed so that you are free to pet and feed the animals whenever you like.  We are a working ‘sheep farm’ with approx 400 sheep on the property – work with our sheep is a seasonal occurrence and happens from time to time.

Access to the farm is exclusive for guests staying in the cottages. We do not cater to ‘day visits’.

We do not provide meals.  Guests  either ‘self cater’ or dine out.  Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils, oven/stove, gas BBQ & utensils and full size fridge/freezer, microwave.  Condiments include: filtered drinking water, plunger coffee, instant coffee, selection of teas, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil.   Alternatively, our town Lavers Hill is located 8kms up the road and has a range of cafes for dining out or take away.  With advanced notice, meals can also be ordered and delivered to your cottage by contacting local chefs (ask us to send sample menu’s).
