Feel free to contact us!

Guests are welcome to explore the farm, collect eggs from the chicken & duck house, pick fruit from the orchard, and pick fresh berries, (seasonal) herbs and salad from the guests produce garden.  We can conduct a ‘farm tour’ at a mutually suitable time (usually anytime between 9am and 4pm) and introduce guests to various friendly farm animals ~ Pet sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, farm dogs, donkey, ponies, the Alpacas. We provide a bucket of animal feed which we replenish as needed so that you are free to pet and feed the animals whenever you like.  We are a working ‘sheep farm’ with approx 400 sheep on the property – work with our sheep is a seasonal occurrence and happens from time to time.

Access to the farm is exclusive for guests staying in the cottages. We do not cater to ‘day visits’.

We do not provide meals.  Guests  either ‘self cater’ or dine out.  Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils, oven/stove, gas BBQ & utensils & full size fridge/freezer, microwave.  Condiments include: delicious, chemical free, filtered drinking water, plunger coffee, instant coffee, selection of teas, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil.  Alternatively, our town Lavers Hill is located 8kms up the road and has a small range of cafes for dining out or take away.  Bookings may be required during peak season.  Note there is no grocery outlet in Lavers Hill, so if self catering, remember to shop for provisions before you arrive

Allow 3 hours if traveling to us from Melbourne via the Princes Highway.  If travelling to us via the Great Ocean Road, don’t rush – as there are many scenic stops & places to explore along the way – Allow approx 4 to 5 hours for an enjoyable, unrushed, scenic trip.  (travel times depend on traffic and road conditions).  On receipt of booking, we provide info on touring routes.

Tariffs range from $200 per night through to $350 per night (2 night min) and depend on:
* Type of Cottage ( one bedroom – one bedroom spa – two bedroom)

Yes.   We can accommodate up to 15 people in our four = 2 x 2 bedroom and 2 x 1 bedroom cottages.  Note:  Our two bedroom cottages  each accommodate a strict maximum of 5 people (including children/infants). Groups of 6 or more people can be accommodated by booking multiple cottages – thus providing ample sleeping configurations & the comfort and amenity of multiple bathrooms.

Public transport – VLINE bus and trains travel into the region from Melbourne – check the VLINE website for schedules (from Melbourne Southern Cross Station to Colac via train or VLINE bus to Apollo Bay).  It may be possible to arrange a ‘private tour/driver’ service for pick up from local public transport stations.  Ask us for contact details.  Most guests self drive (either own vehicle or hire vehicle) as this is the most economical and easiest way to access the farm and visit nearby scenic attractions.
